Where is your energy, really?

I asked myself this question after chatting with a dear friend. He shared a story about how he prepared for a corporate workshop. His role was to hold space and facilitate a price negotiation.

One week before the workshop, he asked for the names of all participants.

He told me that he had written every name on a piece of paper and had taken it with him on a walk into the forest.

I asked him how the workshop went. He said that he was mostly sitting there, watching and observing. Every now and then, he would share an observation, and then he would sit back again, watch and observe.

After the workshop, the leader of the team approached him and said: this is impossible. It was so peaceful, so constructive. How did you do that?

Now what happened is very hard to explain with linear logic that the mind loves. This is about subtle energy fields, and presence.

My friend Gerhard taught me this lesson: Prioritize staying in your center at all costs. Make it non-negotiable. If you are not in your center and in your energy, you self-sabotage your impact.

Go, get grounded and connect with yourself. Then, do the logical preparation.
